Atletico Madrid are keen on replacing current number one Jan Oblak with Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, if the Slovenian international leaves, according to AS.

The Spanish club have reportedly told the 24 year old that they will review his contract at the end of the season, but the player’s agent is said to be in contact with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus.

As a precautionary measure, Atletico are said to be monitoring Courtois’s own contract situation at Chelsea. The Belgian’s current deal expires in 2019 and has recently revealed he has delayed contract talks until the end of the season.

The Evening Standard reports that the 25 year old is keen on a £100,000  week salary rise to match Manchester United David De Gea’s £200,000 a week. The paper says that Real Madrid also remain interested in the keeper, but it is believed that both Chelsea and Courtois are keen for a new contract to be agreed, despite the interest from Spain.
