Sevilla have have made Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi one of their targets for the January transfer window, according to El Gol Digital.

The Blues have been tipped to make a move for a forward themselves, with Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke being the player most heavily linked with a transfer to Stamford Bridge.

El Gol reports that if Chelsea do intend to sign the Belgian international in January, it will offer the opening Sevilla need to try and sign Batshuayi.

The La Liga side currently have Luis Muriel and Wissam Ben Yedder as their two main striking options but neither player is prolific in front of goal, and it has forced the club into looking for additional striking options.

Batshuayi has struggled for starts under manager Antonio Conte, but he has made an impressive start to his second season, having scored seven goals in 13 appearances for the Blues so far this campaign.
