Paris Saint-Germain have held talks with Enrico Chiesa about signing his son Federico from Fiorentina, according to FlorenceViola.it.

The Italian under 21 international has been scouted by some of Europe’s top clubs, including Chelsea, and it seems PSG are the latest team to take an interest in the 20 year old.

Chiesa is also being watched by Napoli and Inter Milan, reports Calciomercato.com, and the former are said to be considering a €35million bid for the winger in the January transfer window.

For their part, Fiorentina are keen on keeping the midfielder. The Italian only signed a new contract last January, but they are said to be preparing a one year contract extension that will treble his €400,000  a year earnings in order to ward off offers from rival clubs.

Whether the offer of approximately £21,000 a week will be enough, it remains to be seen. So far this season, Chiesa has played 11 times in Serie A, scoring two goals and contributing three assists.
