Fenerbahce remain keen on signing Chelsea full back Baba Rahman, according to Aksam.
The Ghanaian international is still recovering from a serious knee injury that he sustained while on international duty last season. The defender ruptured his cruciate ligament playing for Ghana against Uganda in the African Cup of Nations, and had to return to Chelsea from his loan spell at Schalke for treatment.
Last month, manager Antonio Conte revealed that the 23 year old is expected to be back to full fitness before the end of the year. The Italian also said that the left back could be considered for first team duties with out of favour Kenedy the only cover for Marcos Alonso in the left wing back position.
Fenerbahce are however likely to test the waters as they step up their chase for a left back. Aksam reports that the Turkish side are weighing up two options for the role with Rahman and Goztepe’s Adam Traore both targets being considered by the Super Lig club.
