Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has issued a hands off warning to clubs interested in winger Federico Chiesa.

Tuttosport (via Tuttomercatoweb) have reported today that a host of European clubs are after the Italian Under 21 international. Chelsea, Napoli, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich and Zenit St Petersburg are all said to be interested in the 20 year old, with the Italian publication reporting Fiorentina are lining up a new deal for the player.

Corvino told reporters that the Serie A club will do all they can to keep Chiesa:

“Fiorentina will do everything to keep him and we will help him to do his best.”

The winger only signed a new deal with Fiorentina last January, but they want to extend the player’s current contract by a further year and offer a considerable wage rise.

Calciomercato reported yesterday that Chiesa is currently only earning €400,000 a year, but his new deal could treble that. Still, that would only equate to approximately £21,000 a week; a figure that Chelsea and other major European clubs could easily beat.
