Chelsea are one of four teams that are continuing their pursuit of Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, according to the Corriere Dello Sport (via Violanews.com).
Despite only having signed a new contract just two weeks ago, the Italian could be sold next summer, the newspaper reports, with the Blues being joined by Inter Milan, Napoli and Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in the race for the 20 year old.
Chiesa’s performances for Fiorentina led to him being given a new five year deal earlier this month, but it seems it may only delay bids from interested parties. He has been in good form for the Viola this season with three goals and three assists in 13 Serie A matches. It is his second campaign in the first team after making his senior debut against Juventus in August 2016.
The right winger has yet to be called up for the Italian national side but he has been part of the under 21 setup over the past eight months.
