Chelsea are interested in signing Turkish Under 17 international goalkeeper Berke Ozer, according to Ajansspor.
The Turkish publication reports that Blues officials have flown to discuss the transfer of the 17 year old. The stopper currently plays for Altinordu FK who play in the second division of Turkish football.
Ozer made his senior debut at the back end of last season, playing two league games back to back in April against Boluspor and Balikesirspor, before starting this campaign in the first team. He started the 3-3 draw against Giresunspor yesterday and his performances are also said to have been monitored by Manchester City.
Chelsea scouts are believed to be in Izmir (where Altinordu are based), to watch Ozer’s performances in training, and they will be present for the match between Altinordu and Gazisehir Gaziantep, scheduled to be played on 1st December. There is no guarantee that the Turkish keeper will start the match however, as he has been in and out the side so far this season.
