Juventus are eyeing Tottenham full back Danny Rose as a potential replacement for Alex Sandro, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Spurs left back has been linked with Juve in the last couple of weeks, but there has been no suggestion up until now that they were considering to offload the Brazilian international to make room for the England defender.

Chelsea pursued Sandro throughout the summer, but failed to land the 26 year old with the Bianconeri refusing to sell one of their prized assets. However, the Brazilian has struggled to replicate his form of last season, and has been on the receiving end of some criticism for his displays.

Considering there was talk of the Blues being willing to pay €60million for the left back just last week, that valuation may need to be re-assessed if Sandro’s struggles continue.

The Brazilian’s reported replacement Rose has also been linked with Chelsea in recent months, and his recent public statements suggest that his time at Spurs could be coming to an end after saying he was “fuming” to be left out of London derby against Arsenal on Saturday.
