Bayern Munich may consider offloading midfielder Arturo Vidal at the end of the season, according to Kicker (via the Sun).

The Chilean international’s contract at the Allianz Arena expires in 2019, and with the Bundesliga champions not convinced by his performances this season, they may look to offload the 30 year old next summer with one year remaining on his current deal.

Vidal has been consistently linked with a switch to Chelsea since the arrival of Antonio Conte as manager. The Italian signed the midfielder from Bayer Leverkusen for Juventus in 2011, and he played an integral role as Juve racked up three consecutive Serie A titles.

Conte could be keen on reuniting with the player at Stamford Bridge, but a lot will depend on whether Bayern are willing to drop their asking price. Kicker report that the German side would want £50million for the midfielder, but considering the Chilean will be 31 next summer, and that he will have just one year left on his contract, they would likely have to settle for a lot less money.
