Chelsea midfielder Willian may consider leaving the club if Antonio Conte remains as manager next season, according to Brazilian outlet UOL.

The Brazilian has been mostly used as a substitute by the Blues boss this season, but the 29 year old gave a timely reminder of his abilities with a brace in the Champions League against Qarabag on Wednesday night.

Willian still has a challenge on his hands returning to the starting line up for higher profile matches. Conte has employed a 3-5-2 on occasion this season with Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard being partnered up front. The Italian is unlikely to want to break up the pair who have struck up a telepathic understanding of each other’s games in a very short space of time.

If the Brazilian doesn’t return to the starting eleven under Conte, the winger will have a big decision to make in the summer, UOL reports. If the Italian does leave, as some expect him to, the winger may consider staying to see how he fits into a new manager’s plans. Otherwise, he could be looking to depart Chelsea.
