Inter Milan are considering an approach for Hamburg striker Jann-Fiete Arp, according to Calciomercato.com.

The 17 year old could have moved to Chelsea last summer but the forward opted to remain in Germany to continue his development. Inter meanwhile have been tracking the player since May when Arp starred for Germany’s Under 17s at the European Championships in Croatia.

At the tournament, the striker was in red hot form. In the first group match against Bosnia, he scored a hat trick in a 5-0 win. He followed that up with another hat trick in the 7-0 victory against the Republic of Ireland.

Arp ended the championship with seven goals, just behind France’s Amine Gouri with eight; a record for the under 17 version of the tournament. In total the German has 15 goals in 17 games for Germany at that level, and he continues to impress watching scouts.

The striker made his senior debut in the 0-0 draw against Werder Bremen at the end of last month, and he is definitely one to watch out for over the next few years.
