Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is being lined up as a potential transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain, according to Le Parisien.

The same publication carried an interview with the French international over the weekend in which he was asked about whether he regretted choosing the Blues over PSG in 2016.

Kante replied that he had no regrets about his move to Stamford Bridge as he wanted to stay in the Premier League. Whether the holding midfielder’s attitude has changed in a space of a year, it is not known, but it seems PSG are keen to test the waters.

The Ligue One club are trying to strengthen their options in the middle of the park after missing out on Fabinho last summer, and they are focusing their efforts on landing Kante despite missing out on the player once already.

Instead of the £30m Chelsea paid Leicester City for the player though, Le Parisien report it may take an offer of at least £90m for the midfielder to be pried away from the Blues.
