Chelsea are lining up two potential replacements for N’Golo Kante if the Frenchman decides to leave for Paris Saint-Germain, according to El Gol Digital.

Earlier in the week French newspaper Le Parisien reported that PSG Sporting Director Antero Henrique had set his sights on signing the 26 year old next summer, and El Gol say that Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic and Barcelona’s Sergio Roberto are candidates that the Blues will consider if Kante leaves Stamford Bridge.

The possibility of the Frenchman leaving Chelsea is relatively remote at the moment. In an interview with Le Parisien during the international break, Kante revealed he rejected the chance to sign for PSG in favour of a move to Chelsea instead last year.

The midfielder was however born in the French capital and PSG are said to be prepared to bid in the region of £90m for the player. El Gol report that Chelsea would fight off the Ligue One side to keep Kante, but Roberto and Kovacic are in their contingency plans if the player does decide he wants to return to his hometown.
