The agent of Brazilian international midfielder Lucas Lima has confirmed his client has yet to receive any “concrete” proposals from prospective clubs despite his contract at Santos expiring at the end of December.

Over the summer, the 27 year old was linked with a number of European clubs and Chinese Super League teams with Chelsea, Barcelona and AC Milan all mentioned as possible destinations.

Speaking to ESPN Brasil, Edson Khodor dismissed talk of Milan, Chelsea and Barca as “absurd” and that he has had “nothing” except from Turkish club Fenerbahce. Lima decided against a move to Turkey and was offered new terms by Santos. The midfielder has however not signed a new deal, and Khodor says the player is waiting until November to see what other clubs are interested:

“With me, [he has] had only Fenerbachce. And Lucas did not want to [go]. The proposal of Santos Futebol Clube is in his hands. He asked to wait until November, with all the other interested clubs coming up. Then he’ll decide what to do.”

The midfielder has 15 caps for Brazil although his last appearance for his country came in October last year as a substitute in a 5-0 win over Bolivia.
