Former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti says he wants to return to manage in the Premier League.
The Italian was sacked by Bayern Munich last week, and there has been speculation over where his next managerial post will be. Speaking to Sky Sports yesterday, Ancelotti said he is not looking to return to management this season, but will look to make his comeback next year instead after taking a break from football:
“I want to manage. Not this season, maybe next season (either) in the Premier League or at another club. The only think I want to do is to train.”
With the Times reporting that current Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to leave the club at the end of the season, many Chelsea fans on Twitter are putting two and two together.
The Mirror in contrast have reported today that Chelsea are seeking to keep Conte on as manager by signing both Juventus left back Alex Sandro and Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window. Here is some of the Twitter reaction to Ancelotti’s comments:

Other fans are not so convinced though:
IF & it is an IF Conte does leave this Summer, is Ancelotti our only option? Are Luis Enrique, Laurent Blanc, Thomas Tuchel better options? https://t.co/XevMF1iDkm
