Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar says he would be keen on a return to Stamford Bridge if the opportunity arises in the future.
The Brazilian international is only 26 years of age, and he told Premier League Brasil that he would be keen to make a return to the Blues in the next two or three years.
Oscar departed the club because manager Antonio Conte had switched to a 3-4-3 which could not accommodate the attacking midfielder into the system.
If the Italian does depart the club when his contract expires in 2019 or earlier, there is the possibility of a switch back to a 4-3-3 that could allow the Brazilian to have a place in the side.
Before getting too far ahead of ourselves though, there is the question of whether Chelsea would want the player back at all. On Twitter, opinion was very much split on the matter. Here are some of the comments from fans about Oscar’s comments:
If we can get Oscar back in a year or two that’d be amazing ! #CFC https://t.co/8vzoItsgxs

Oscar would have done so well in this new 3-5-2 #CFC formation imo.

Others are not so keen on the idea:
Can't believe I'm seeing some Chelsea fans actually want Oscar back, most overrated & inconsistent player I've ever witnessed… #CFC

Oscar to #CFC and I’l agree with Ray Wilkins that we have a weaker team this season as compared to last season!
