Chelsea and Manchester City will look to revive their interest in Juventus left back Alex Sandro, according to Transfermarketweb.

Speculation since the transfer window closed has been about the Brazilian international signing a new contract, but so far there has been no announcement with regards to a new improved deal for the 26 year old. whose current contract expires in under three years time.

Football-Italia.net reported at the start of the month that Juve had offered Sandro €5m a season until 2022, almost double what he is on currently on (€2.8m a year). Yet, that would work out at roughly £84,500 a week, which is likely to be substantially less than either Chelsea or Man City would be prepared to pay him.

It is believed however that any bid from City or the Blues in January will likely fail with Transfermarketweb reporting that a €60million from either Premier League club would be rejected.
