The agent of Genoa starlet Pietro Pellegri is reportedly in London to hold talks with potential suitors, according to Daily Express journalist Bruce Archer.

Chelsea have been monitoring the 16 year old for a number of months since he burst onto the scene in Serie A at the back end of last campaign. He made his senior debut against Torino in December last year, and after another brief substitute appearance against Verona in April, he scored on his third appearance for the club in a 3-2 defeat to Roma on the final day of last season.

Since then, a growing number of clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Monaco, Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan have all been watching Pellegri’s progress.

His double for Genoa in the 3-2 loss to Lazio at the weekend has raised his profile further, and it seems likely that the Blues are the team leading the race for the player currently, if the Express are to be believed about his agent’s current location.
