Chelsea striker Diego Costa will arrive in London for talks with the Blues today, according to AS journalist Patricia Cazon.

The Spanish publication report that the 28 year old is expected to meet with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia in order to apologise for his behaviour, and re-start negotiations over his prospective move to Atletico Madrid in January.

The Spanish club have reportedly been trying to get Costa to patch up relations with the Blues for a while but, up until this point, the Spaniard has remained in Brazil, making talks between Chelsea and Atletico difficult.

The La Liga side are hoping that more cordial relations with the Blues will see the London club reduce their asking price for Costa. The striker’s initial price tag was €75m, AS reports, but that has now been cut to €60m.

The two sides are still way apart in their valuations though with Atletico’s last offer of €30m being exactly half of what Chelsea are demanding.
