Chelsea are among four clubs keeping an eye on Thomas Muller’s situation at Bayern Munich, according to SportBild.
The German tabloid reports that the Blues, Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus all enquired about the player in the summer but the German international was not prepared to move clubs.
The forward has however had a difficult time playing under manager Carlo Ancelotti. Despite starting the first Bundesliga game of the season and captaining the side against Bayer Leverkusen in a 3-1 win, he was named on the bench for the second league match against Werder Bremen.
He did play 42 times in all competitions last season, starting 33 games, scoring nine goals and providing 17 assists, but his lack of goals and the arrival of James Rodriguez from Real Madrid have put question marks over his future.
SportBild believe Muller is happy with his lifestyle in Bavaria, living with his wife, a dressage rider, and living on a farm outside of Munich. The German publication however believe that his poor relationship with Ancelotti could see him depart sooner rather than later.
