Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race for Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker, according to French website Canal Supporters. The 22 year old has been linked with both Chelsea and Manchester United this summer.

The website reports that the Belgian international and Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho are both being tracked by the Ligue One club as potential replacements for the outgoing Blaise Matuidi.

The French international has one year left on his contract at the Parc des Princes and is expected to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.

Anderlecht sporting director Herman Van Holsbeeck revealed yesterday that Dendoncker could be sold for between €25m and €35m (approximately £22m to £31m) this summer.

The holding midfielder played in Anderlecht’s first league match of the season against Royal Antwerp on Friday. He played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw. Last season, he played 57 times in all competitions, scoring six goals for the Pro League club.
