Italian newspaper Tuttosport (via Tuttomercatoweb) are reporting that Inter Milan are continuing their pursuit of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.

The Danish international will be reportedly given chances in the first team by Antonio Conte this season after spending two seasons on loan at Borussia Monchengladbach, and Chelsea are said to have already rejected a bid from the German side to sign the 21 year old on a permanent basis.

Still, it seems Inter will look to try their luck. They want the player on an initial season long loan in view to a permanent transfer next summer. It seems the Serie A club are flexible on whether it is a purchase option or an obligation to buy, but they are said to be prepared to offer only between €20m (£17.9m) and €25m (£22.4m) for the player.

Along with Inter, Turkish newspaper Sozcu reported yesterday that Fenerbahce were also keen on the centre back as they seek a replacement for defender Simon Kjaer who is close to joining Sevilla.
