Paris Saint-Germain will look to offer right back Serge Aurier to Inter Milan as part of their bid to sign attacking midfielder Joao Mario, according to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com).

Le10 Sport had reported last week that Chelsea were leading Manchester United in the race to sign the 24 year old after making a £27million offer for the Ivory Coast international.

It seems PSG have other ideas on the full back’s future. After shelling out a world record £196m on Neymar, as reported on SportNation.com, they are looking to offset some of their other purchases this summer by offloading some of their current stars.

Mario only signed for Inter for €40m from Sporting Lisbon last season and the Serie A side are believed to have placed an asking price of €50million on the Portuguese international. Tuttosport say PSG may use Aurier in a part-exchange deal.

A transfer for the right back to England would have been complicated in any case. The Ivorian was refused entry to the UK in October when PSG faced Arsenal in the Champions League. He has a suspended prison sentence for assaulting a police officer but the player is hoping to have the sentence overturned this week, according to reports.

With the record-breaking purchase of Neymar, PSG themselves have triggered a number of potential transfers that could see Coutinho leave Liverpool and that has prompted SportNation.bet to install the Reds as a long shot 20/1 to win the league, which Chelsea are odds-on.
