Valencia will offer right back Joao Cancelo to Inter Milan on a season long loan deal in a part exchange offer for midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, according to Super Deporte.
The local Spanish newspaper believes Inter have already asked Cancelo whether he would be interested in moving to the Serie A side, to determine whether such a deal could be struck.
The Portuguese international is said to be open to a loan move, but only if he continues playing regularly as a right back. In a surprising development, the defender is believed to not be Valencia head coach Marcelino’s first choice on the right hand side with Martin Montoya ahead of him in the pecking order at the Mestalla.
Chelsea and Tottenham have also reportedly looked at the 23 year old as a potential option but it seems Inter are the firm favourites for Cancelo if Kondogbia makes the move in the opposite direction.
