Juventus are considering a loan bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The Italian newspaper report that the Serie A champions are looking to strengthen their numbers in central midfield, and they will use their good relationship with Bayern to strike a deal.
In recent years, Kingsley Coman has joined the Bundesliga club on a two year loan from Juve before a permanent switch, while Douglas Costa made the opposite move this summer.
Juventus have been struggling to land a midfielder with Liverpool’s Emre Can, Roma’s Kevin Strootman, Sevilla’s Steven N’Zonzi and Barcelona’s Andre Gomes all proving out of reach. A move for the Portuguese international on a temporary basis is seen as a more economical solution.
Chelsea and AC Milan are also looking at Sanches but the 20 year old wants game time which the Blues can’t guarantee, while the Rossoneri want a purchase option in any loan agreement which Bayern won’t sanction.
