Inter Milan may offer midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia in a part-exchange deal to sign Chelsea target Joao Cancelo, Calciomercato.com reports.

The Italian website says that the Frenchman is keen to join Cancelo’s club Valencia which gives them an advantage over their rivals for the Portuguese international’s signature.

As well as Inter and Chelsea, Juventus and Tottenham have both looked at the 23 year old as a potential option to strengthen the right hand side of defence. Spurs are seeking a replacement for Kyle Walker while Juve are still on a lookout for someone who can fill the void left by Dani Alves.

Cancelo is believed to be rated at €30m – €35m (£27m – £32m) by Valencia, and he is said to be one of the options that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is considering for the right flank. PSG’s Serge Aurier, Southampton’s Cedric Soares and even Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been converted into a wing back by Arsenal in recent months, are also reportedly being looked at.
