Borussia Dortmund have joined Chelsea and Manchester United in pursuing a deal for Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa, according to Tuttosport.

TMW Radio in Italy originally revealed at the weekend that the Blues were looking at the 19 year old as a potential summer signing, but it seems the Bundesliga club have now also entered the running, with the club resigned to losing Ousmane Dembele to Barcelona.

Chiesa is the son of former Sampdoria striker and Italian international Enrico Chiesa, and he had an impressive debut season for Fiorentina in Serie A.

He made his debut against Juventus last August, and went on to make 34 appearances in all competitions for the Viola under Paulo Sousa, scoring five goals and providing four assists.

Chiesa generally plays on the right flank, although he has occasionally played as a support striker or on the left wing for Fiorentina. He only signed a contract extension in January, keeping him at the club until 2021, but he would no doubt be given a substantial wage increase if he were to make the move to London.
