Sport are reporting that Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto will consider his future if he isn’t selected in the starting eleven for Barca’s Super Cup first leg tie against Real Madrid on Sunday.

The Catalan publication say Roberto is keen to stay at the Camp Nou but the fact that manager Ernesto Valverde looks likely to choose the triumvirate of Ivan Rakitic, Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets in the centre of midfield for the match, means the 25 year old may consider his options.

Roberto was utilised mostly as a right back by previous manager Luis Enrique but the signing of Nelson Semedo from Benfica and the return of Aleix Vidal into the club’s first team plans has meant the player’s first team opportunities could be limited.

Chelsea and Manchester United have reportedly been joined by Juventus in monitoring the midfielder’s situation. Sport say Barcelona want to renew the player’s contract, but he could leave if a club offers the €40million buyout clause in his current deal.
