Chelsea have included PSV Eindhoven right back Santiago Arias on their list of full back targets, according to the Sun, but it seems Swansea City could beat them to securing the Colombian international’s signature.

The Blues have looked at various right wing back options this summer with Dani Alves, Danilo, Serge Aurier, Joao Cancelo and Cedric Soares all having been considered.

Currently it seems Inter’s Antonio Candrevas is the preferred target going by reports in Italy but Arias could be still on the radar in case they miss out on the Italian international.

Swans boss Paul Clement is said to be keen to get the deal over the line for Arias now they have sizeable transfer funds after the £45m sale of Gylfi Sigurdsson to Everton. The PSV defender will cost £12million and is said to be coming around to the idea of making a move to the Liberty stadium after initially eyeing a move to a bigger club.
