Watford have agreed terms to sign Brazilian forward Richarlison from Fluminense for £13million, according to Sky Sports News.

Chelsea and Ajax were both interested in the pacey 20 year old but the Hornets are on the verge of signing the player after agreeing both a transfer fee and personal terms.

Richarlison looks set to move to Vicarage Road once a work permit can be secured, and he will have a medical before he puts pen to paper on a five year deal to play for Marco Silva’s side.

The forward has mostly played on the left wing for Fluminense this season, but he is equally comfortable playing through the middle, as well as occasionally being employed from the right hand side.

The attraction of first team action in English football would have likely swung it in Watford’s favour with Chelsea already having a number of options for the front three positions in the starting eleven.
