Anderlecht are prepared to sell their young goalkeeper Mile Svilar this summer, according to O Jogo.

A club source told the Portuguese newspaper that the 17 year old could be sold for “a few million euros” as long as the Belgian club are given a sizeable sell on percentage of any future transfer.

The keeper is seen as one of Europe’s brightest young talents, with some calling him the next Thibaut Courtois. O Jogo say that Chelsea and Real Madrid have been tracking the teenager but Benfica are the club currently keenest to sign the player.

The Portuguese champions lost their first choice goalkeeper Ederson to Manchester City this summer, and want a younger replacement for veteran Julio Cesar.

Svilar’s father, a former Yugoslavian international himself, told O Jogo last month that his son will not accept being Anderlecht’s third choice keeper for very long, and that he needs matches to develop his game. The quotes will no doubt encourage Benfica and other interested clubs to make a bid for Svilar.
