Chelsea are lining up one final bid of €70million (£64m) for Juventus left back Alex Sandro, according to Calciomercato.com.

Although not confirming the size of the offer, Daily Telegraph journalist Matt Law has also suggested the Blues are looking at making “a last-ditch offer” in order to convince Juve into selling the Brazilian.

The Bianconeri are said to be convinced that Sandro is not looking to leave the Serie A champions this summer. Last week, chief executive Beppe Marotta claimed the player had told him he wants to stay at the club.

Juventus are believed to be hoping to hold on to the full back until September 1st when they will look to offer the 26 year old a new contract in order to secure the player’s long term future.

Chelsea on the other hand seem to be hopeful that Juve will be convinced to sell if the bid is high enough. If not, the Blues won’t have much time to secure the signing of one of their alternative targets, with just over one week to go until transfer deadline day.
