Marseille may withdraw their interest in Chelsea striker Diego Costa because of a dispute between the club’s sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and head coach Rudi Garcia, according to Eurosport France journalist Thibaud Vezirian.

Zubizarreta is reportedly very keen to sign Costa, most likely on a six month loan deal once Atletico Madrid agree a deal with the Blues for the forward. Garcia on the other hand wants Liverpool forward Divock Origi on a permanent transfer.

Reports by Foot-sur7.fr have suggested that the disagreement has become so strong that Marseille president Jacques-Henri Eyraud may have to step in to resolve the differences between the pair.

The Evening Standard have reported today that Monaco are also looking for a loan deal for Costa but all of this is very much irrelevant if a transfer fee can’t be agreed between Atletico and Chelsea before the transfer window shuts at midnight on Friday morning.
