Chelsea centre back Kenneth Omeruo has not played a single minute for the Blues since joining the club from Standard Liege in 2012. Instead, the Nigerian international has spent his time on loan at four different clubs, including ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, Kasimpasa and Alanyaspor.
His reputation has grown in Turkey after spending his last two loan spells in the country. Last season for Alanyaspor, he made 26 appearances in the league, scoring one goal, and Turkish publication Fotomac have reported that there are now two Super Lig clubs looking to sign the 23 year old on a permanent basis.
Newly promoted club Goztepe and fellow Super Lig side Sivasspor are both seeking deals to sign the centre half. It is believed Goztepe’s offer is the more “attractive” of the two, and it could mean Omeruo, who has 31 caps for Nigeria, could depart Stamford Bridge after a five year stay at the club.
