Paris Saint-Germain have entered the race to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti, according to the Gazzetta Dello Sport.
The French club are reportedly frustrated at their progress in trying to secure a deal for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe. The Ligue One champions are believed to be holding out for a world record fee for the 18 year old, and it isn’t even certain the player wants to leave this summer.
La Gazzetta report that Belotti is seen as a cheaper alternative by the PSG hierarchy, with the 23 year old having a €100million release clause. The French club are however hopeful of securing a deal for below that amount.
The Italian international is also believed to be on a list of targets Chelsea have to replace Diego Costa. Along with Belotti, the Blues have also been linked with Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in recent days.
Torino president Urbano Cairo has however confirmed this week he has received no bids for their striker, who scored 28 goals last season.
