Huddersfield Town are hoping to add Chelsea’s Izzy Brown and Kasey Palmer to their ranks once again next season, according to Goal.com.

Both players spent spells on loan at the John Smiths’ Stadium last campaign, but the Terriers are aware of Premier League rules that prevent a Premier League club taking more than one player on loan from another top flight side.

To stay within the rules, Huddersfield manager David Wagner is seeking to sign Brown permanently for £8m, whilst offering another loan deal for Palmer.

Brown spent the second half of last season on loan with the Terriers after joining Rotherham United for the first half of the campaign. At the Terriers, he played 21 times, scoring five goals and providing one assist, helping Huddersfield to promotion through the playoffs.

Palmer meanwhile was effectively replaced by Brown for the second half of the season after he sustained a serious Achilles tendon injury. He made 27 appearances for Huddersfield before being sidelined with the issue in February. He did however return to make a substitute appearance in the Championship playoff final against Reading.
