Marseille are the latest club to join the long list of suitors for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to SkySports.com.

The Frenchman was the subject of bids from Chelsea and West Ham United during the January transfer window, the sports news station reports, and it seems the Premier League sides will now have to contend with the French club if they want to sign the 20 year old this summer.

Marseille are seeking a replacement for Bafetimbi Gomis who has joined Turkish side Galatasaray. They are also believed to be looking at deals for Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud and Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony which would cost them an estimated £20m or below.

Reports in January suggested that Celtic would demand at least £40m for Dembele, who signed from Fulham last summer for a nominal fee. Such an amount would almost certainly rule Marseille out of the race.

Chelsea meanwhile could make a move for Dembele after they failed to capture Romelu Lukaku. The Evening Standard reported in January that the Blues would revive a move for the player in the summer but manager Antonio Conte is likely to go after a more high profile signing with a £70m move for Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata being suggested by AS today.
