Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has contacted Torino striker Andrea Belotti over the phone about a potential switch to Stamford Bridge, according to La Stampa (via Calciomercato.com).

The Italian newspaper reports the Blues are prepared to pay close to the 23 year old’s €100m buyout clause, although so far no official bid has been placed for the Serie A forward.

Torino president Urbano Cairo revealed yesterday that the Italian club have not received any offers for Belotti. The Italian international scored 28 goals in 38 games in all competitions last season.

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola told Talksport radio that he thinks the striker should be prioritised over Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata due to the player’s similarities to Diego Costa.

In addition to Belotti and Morata, Sky Sports are reporting the the Blues have also been offered the chance to sign Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with a £70m fee being proposed for the Gabon international.
