Manchester City remain interested in Chelsea target Alex Sandro, according to Tuttosport.

It was thought that City’s signing of Benjamin Mendy from Monaco for £52m would have led to the Premier League side cooling their interest in the Juventus full back, but the Italian newspaper is suggesting otherwise.

Juve are apparently determined to keep hold of the Brazilian but they are bracing themselves for another bid from either City or Chelsea in the region of €60m – €70m. The Blues are hoping a £60m (€67m) bid will be enough to prize the left back away from the Serie A champions.

Tuttosport say that at this time Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici are so confident of keeping Sandro that they have not lined up any replacements if they lose the 26 year old this summer.

There will no doubt however be further twists and turns in this transfer saga before the end of the transfer window.
