Besiktas are lining up a €4m (£3.5m) bid for Chelsea striker Loic Remy, according to Fanatik.

The Turkish publication say that that the former French international is a key target for the Turkish champions. He has just one year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge, and is unlikely to stay at the club with the chances of first team football very low under manager Antonio Conte.

Remy was signed from Queens Park Rangers for £10.5m three years ago, but has made just 47 appearances for the Blues, scoring 12 goals. He was loaned out to Crystal Palace for the whole of last season but injuries curtailed his playing time at Selhurst Park.

Conte may look to keep Remy at least until the end of August. With Diego Costa no longer in the Chelsea boss’s plans, Remy and Michy Batshuayi are currently the only out and out strikers in the first team squad. Once a replacement for Costa is found, it is likely the Frenchman will be swiftly sold.
