Chelsea centre back Michael Hector is poised to join Hull City on a season long loan, according to the Daily Mail.

The 25 year old will be the second Blues player that Tigers boss Leonid Slutsky has taken from the club after signing full back Ola Aina earlier on in the transfer window.

Nottingham Forest were also believed to be in the running for Hector but it seems the Jamaican international will be heading to the Kcom stadium to play in the Championship next season.

The defender will embarking on the fourteenth loan spell of his career, although he has only actually been owned by two clubs; Chelsea and Reading.

After joining from the Royals in 2015, he spent a season back on loan with the Championship side before making the move to the Bundesliga to play for Eintracht Frankfurt. He played 27 games in all competitions for the German club, helping them to an 11th place finish in the league last season.
