Juventus are prepared to raise their bid from €12million (£11.6m) to €15million (£13.4m) for Lazio winger Keita Balde Diao, but the offer will be rejected according to La Repubblica.

The Senegalese international is also believed to have been closely tracked by Chelsea and Inter Milan this summer, and it seems Juve’s latest offer will be pushed back, giving the Blues an opportunity to step in and sign the 22 year old if they choose to do so.

Keita’s contract expires next summer but Lazio president Claudio Lotito is driving a hard bargain and won’t back down on his €30million valuation of the player. Juve are believed to be considering including players into the deal to make up the difference.

Midfielder Tomas Rincon, who only signed from Genoa in January, and Stefano Sturaro are believed to be the two names being considered to be included in a part-exchange offer.

Keita played predominantly from the left wing last season, and had by far his most prolific campaign to date, with 16 goals and six assists in 34 appearances.
