Chelsea will decide on midfielder Mario Pasalic’s future this week, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The Croatian international has a number of offers from the likes of Real Betis and Spartak Moscow but the Blues decided to delay their decision on what to do with the 22 year old until after the club’s pre-season tour of Asia.

After the club’s final fixture in the Far East against Inter Milan on Saturday, Pasalic will be returning with the rest of the Chelsea’s tour party to the UK.

Estadio Deportivo report that as the midfielder has just one year left on his contract, the Blues will look to offer the Croatian a new four year deal, worth €2.5million a season so he can be sent out on loan once again.

Chelsea are expecting any club to pick up the majority of the player’s wages, and this could favour Spartak ahead of Betis. Estadio Deportivo however believe the La Liga side have the advantage due to the fact Pasalic has “given his word” that he will make the switch to Spain.
