New Watford manager Marco Silva wants to re-sign Chelsea left back Kenedy, according to A Bola.

The Portuguese newspaper reports that the former Hull boss has targeted six players this summer, including the Brazilian, with Juventus goalkeeper Neto, Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic, Napoli defensive midfielder Allan, Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar and Hull City’s Josh Tymon all on his list.

Kenedy spent the first half of last season on loan at Vicarage Road but was recalled in December after making just one substitute for the Hornets. The Brazilian was however sidelined with a knee injury for the majority of his spell at the club.

The fact that Watford also have a new head coach may also convince Chelsea that he will be given more chances to play. Kenedy would still however have to compete with the club’s first choice left wing back Jose Holebas.

The Daily Mirror report that the Blues will change their policy on loan spells to guarantee their players more first team football and Watford will no doubt have to persuade Antonio Conte that a move back to the Hornets will be beneficial for the 21 year old.
