Sport journalist Josep Capdevila has suggested that Chelsea may be interested in a move for Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore.

The speed merchant has shown glimpses of talent during his spells at both Boro and Aston Villa in the past two seasons, but the 21 year old’s lack of end product and overall quality in the final third of the pitch make him a very unlikely transfer target.

Sport‘s Capdevila cite the fact that the former Barcelona youngster will be made available for transfer by Middlesbrough this summer, along with Gaston Ramirez and Martin De Roon.

He also mentions “English media” sources as suggesting that Blues boss Antonio Conte is interested in Traore, but it seems to be based on speculation from January when Sky Sports reported Chelsea were looking at the Spaniard. Since then there have been no further links to the Blues other than Sport, which suggests a move to Stamford Bridge isn’t imminent.
