Thirteen Premier League clubs are chasing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, according to Goal.com France, but they will find it difficult to land the forward.

The website however states the player will only consider clubs playing in the Champions League and who can match his €320,000 a month wages (£70,000 a a week).

The Belgian international is said to be seeking a permanent transfer rather than a loan period away from Stamford Bridge. Talking to Goal.com, a “close relative” of Batshuayi says the striker is reluctant to go out on loan if he remains on the periphery of manager Antonio Conte’s first team plans next summer.

“Michy does not want to be loaned to a club, score goals, play the World Cup and return to Chelsea with the same questions about his chances of playing.”

A bid of €40million will be sufficient to seal the striker’s signature, Goal.com reports; the same number that the Blues paid Marseille for the striker last summer. Monaco are said to be the front runners to sign the Belgian star with Champions League football guaranteed after the Ligue One side won the title last season.
