Chelsea could challenge Juventus for Real Madrid right back Danilo, according to Sky in Italy (via AS).

Juve are believed to be lining up a €15million bid for the Brazilian but the offer would far well short of the €30million which the Spanish club are looking to get for the defender.

Danilo has failed to displace Dani Carvajal as the club’s first choice right back, and Real will try to recoup as much of the €31.5m they paid Porto for the player two years ago.

AS say that the involvement of Chelsea could force Juventus into raising their first offer for the 25 year old. The Blues are looking to a recruit wing backs on both flanks this summer.

Juve’s Alex Sandro is still the likeliest option on the left hand side, but after missing out on Dani Alves, with the Brazilian likely to join Manchester City, manager Antonio Conte could turn his attentions to Danilo in order to increase competition on the right flank.
