Hamburg striker Fiete Arp is poised to sign a new deal to stay with the German club, according to Bild.

The 17 year old has attracted interest from Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen in recent months but the forward looks set to continue his development at the Bundesliga side.

Arp’s current contract expires next summer, and there would have likely been a massive scramble to sign the German. He has scored 12 goals in 12 games for Germany’s Under 17s, and playing in Hamburg’s Under 19s, he scored 28 goals in only 25 games in all competitions last season.

There is hope for Chelsea and their rivals though. Bild are reporting that Arp will only sign a one year contract extension up until 2019 so he can continue his development at the team he joined at the age of ten back in 2010. He is expected to be given a contract worth €5000 a week.
