Besitktas and Lyon are pursuing a deal for Chelsea striker Loic Remy, according to Tuttomercatoweb.

The Frenchman is almost a forgotten man at Stamford Bridge after being sent out on loan to Crystal Palace last season. His time at Selhurst Park was plagued by injury with successive hamstring and calf strain injuries curtailing his game time.

He only made eight appearances in all competitions for Palace with just three starts. His greatest run of games came back in January and February where he made four appearances in the league and another three appearances in the FA Cup.

After coming on briefly as a substitute in the 1-0 defeat to Stoke City in mid February however, he made just one more appearance against Burnley in late April.

The 30 year old actually started his career at Lyon before moving to Nice in 2008, and it seems like the forward could return to France if the Ligue One side can offer a relatively good deal, with Remy having just a year left on his contract.
