Fiorentina are prepared to sell winger Federico Bernardeschi to the highest bidder this summer, boosting Chelsea’s chances of signing him, according to Tuttosport (via Tuttomercatoweb).

Juventus are the other main suitor for the Italian Under 21 international, and are willing to pay €40million to sign the 23 year old. They however fear that the Blues may outbid them for the player with manager Antonio Conte keen to strengthen his options in wide areas before the start of the Premier League season.

The Italian currently has Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro at this disposal but he wants to ensure Chelsea can compete on all fronts next campaign with a strong first team squad

They may have to persuade Bernardeschi as Tuttosport report that the Italian’s heart is set on a move to Turin. The winger is currently at the European Under 21 Championships with Italy, where they will face Spain tonight in the semi-finals of the tournament.

Last season for Fiorentina, the midfielder scored 14 goals and provided five assists in 42 appearances.
